B ack in the early nineties, Eddie started selling used cars in what now seems, a different time and era. Like the used car business Eddie understood success meant changing with the times. Eddie realized long ago that the day of sleazy used car sales, prevalent in the 90s, was not the future he wanted. So Eddie formulated a simple set of 3 basic common sense rules for himself and his people when financing and selling used cars. Eddie originally started with 2 sales people and sold vehicles under $5000, mostly cash deals. In 1998, Eddie moved into his current location in Edmonton. This is when Eddie realized that subprime used vehicle loans were critical to future success. Eddies is one of the pioneers of financing used cars in Edmonton, long before it was popular. Our stratgey for financing and used cars at a great price is why Eddies is the place to shop for used cars.

Today, Eddies also has a partner with decades of finance experience in prime and subprime vehicle loans. Eddies is constantly expanding and according to Eddie his success is founded on 3 simple rules:

Treat others, as you would like to be treated

Many used car dealers could not care less what their customers need and want. All they want to do is pressure a customer into the used car they can make the most money on. They only want to please themselves and it shows with the contempt and arrogance in which they treat their customers before, during and after buying a used car.

Eddie realized long ago that if you treat people the way you would like to be treated, the result is repeat sales. Eddie will sell and finance a used vehicle you want and need, rather than pressuring you into buying a vehicle that only benefits the dealership. Eddie strives for win-win deals where both sides win and this starts with the right attitude when you are shopping for used cars.

We only sell quality certified used cars

Eddie understood long ago that one of the major keys to success in the used car business is selling safe and reliable used cars. Unlike many of our competitors we Do Not sell junk and we set high standards on every used vehicle we sell. Our used vehicle stock is handled in a transparent manner. This why we provide a VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT from CARPROOF on all the used vehicles we sell. This report tells you about the history of the vehicle you are buying. At Eddies we don't have anything to hide with our certified used cars.

It is our mission to offer our customers the best prices and selection for used cars in Edmonton. All our inventory is fully inspected by a government certified licensed technicians. We also offer extended warranties and other insurance type options with our used cars. If a car is suspect, or doesn’t meet our standards, you will never find it on our lot.

We finance people, not cars

Eddies is a full service used car dealer. Unlike many of our competitors we look at our customer with a long term attitude. We would rather make less money and have a happy customer than try and squeeze a customer into a deal that is bad for them in the long term. A happy customer is a repeat customer when it comes to used cars.

We offer fair and reasonable rates on our used car financing. We have reward programs for people with bad credit so they can rebuild their credit rating. We want customers to rely on us for their transportation and financing at successively lower rates.
